You fire hereby authorised to draw on us bills of exchange or drafts at
6 months' sight for a sum not exceeding Rs       towards the aggregate
amount payable to you by our customer Mr         In respect of the shipment
of consignment No        of        sold and to be exported by you to .
. . . our said customer. We undertake to duly honour such bills of exchange/drafts on presentation by you or through your bankers duly discounted in their favour.
The bills of exchange/drafts should be accompanied by the relevant bill of lading in respect of the consignment duly endorsed and shipping invoice, particulars of insurance policy and the documents relating to the said shipment.
The bills or drafts must specify that they are drawn under this credit number. . . date ....

You are hereby authorised to draw upon us at 3 months sight any
amount to the extent of Rs       and such drafts we undertake to honour
and pay on presentation thereof by you or through your bankers if duly negotiated in their favour.
This credit will remain in force for 6 months from today. If the Bill of exchange is negotiated the parties should endorse particulars on the back. The Bills must specify that they are drawn under [his letter of credit.
