Re: Claim in respect of loss in Consignment Note No ………..dated Under instructions of my clients M/s X Y & Co . and for and their behalf, I hereby give you notice as under:
(1) My client M/s. X Y & Co. entrusted ………..to you for carrying the same to M/s ………..vide consignment Note No . ………..dated
(2) In the normal course, the said consignment should have reached to the consignee by but the said consignment has not reached M/s ………..so far.
(3) On enquiry from your depot, it has come to the notice of my clients on ............ that the said consignment has been lost in transit and is not traceable.
