1. I, W/o , aged years, presently

residing in , do hereby solemnly affirm and state as follows:—

1. I am the petitioner in the O.P. referred to above and the

accompanying CM.P. I am well conversant with the facts and circumstances

of the case and I am competent to swear to this affidavit.

1. The respondent referred to above is a cable operator notorious

for showing obscene and blue films regularly. It is needless to say that

exhibition of such films adversely affects the minds of children and

youngsters. It is not only corrosive of our culture but also hampers the

healthy growth of personality of the children.

1. In view of the above consequences, criminal cases were

registered against the respondent and the Consumer Redressal Forum

awarded a fine of

Rs against the respondent. However, the respondent, absolutely

unmindful

of the hazards posed by the aforesaid exhibition and completely

disrespectful of the directions of the Forum, shamelessly continues in

his illegal activities.

1. The respondent is going to renew his license for another year.
2. In view of the above circumstances, it is just and necessary

that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to direct the respondent not to

renew the license of the respondent during the pendency of this Original

Petition.

1. The exhibits marked in the Original Petition are the true copies

of the original documents they purport to represent.
