The deponent abovenamed solemnly affirms and states as follows:—

  1. That the deponent is the petitioner in the accompanying petition

and being well conversant with the facts and circumstances of the case,

the deponent is competent to swear to this affidavit.

  1. That the marriage between the deponent and the respondent was

solemnised at Delhi, on , as per Hindu rites and ceremonies.

  1. That the details laid out in the accompanying petition, with

regard to the age, status and place of residence of the petitioner

before marriage and at the time of filing this petition, may be treated

as part of this affidavit.

  1. That the respondent is guilty of committing adultery as the

respondent is living with the co-respondent and has failed to return to

the matrimonial home.

  1. That the petition is not presented in collusion with the

respondent.

  1. That there has been no unnecessary or improper delay in filing

this petition.

  1. That there is no other ground why the relief should not be

granted.

  1. That there have not been any other previous proceedings between

the parties.
