Labourers, Statute of (English), 31 Edw. 3, c. 7 (repealed as long obsolete by Statute Law Revision Act, 1863), whereby justices of the peace had power to regulate the rate of wages, which had risen to an abnormal height owing to the scarcity of labour arising out of the 'Black Death.'
