Intermediary and proprietor, the expression 'inter-mediary' is defined in s. 3(12) as, 'intermediary', with reference to an estate means a proprietor, under-proprietor, etc. s. 3(21) defines a proprietor to mean, as respects an estate', a person 'owing' the estate and includes the heirs and successors-in-interest of the proprietor, Rani Ratnesh Kumari v.
