Inspecting authority, means a person having quali-fications and wide experience in the field of design, manufacture and testing of gas cylinders and recognised by the Chief Controller as authority for inspection and certification of gas cylinder. [Gas Cylinders Rules, 2004, R. 2(xxvii)]
