Infamy - Definition - Law Dictionary
Definition :
Infamy, means (1) Disgraceful repute (2) The loss of reputation or position resulting from a person's being convicted of an infamous crime, Black's Law Dictionary, 7th Edn., p. 781.
Infamy, public disgrace; total loss of character. This does not now incapacitate from giving evidence, 6 & 7 Vict. c. 85, s. 1.
