Definition :

Imperitia, means lack of skill or competence; inexperience. The Romans considered imperitia to be a type of culpa that gave rise to liability in tort or liability under a contract calling for the rendering of services. Imperitus denoted an incompetent judge, Black's Law Dictionary, 7th Edn., p. 756.
