Definition :

High water mark, in relation to a port, means a line drawn through the highest points reached by ordinary spring-tides at any season of the year at the port. [Major Port Trusts Act, 1963 (36 of 1963) s. 2(i)]

That part of the seashore to which the waters ordinarily reach when the tide is highest.

In relation to a port, means a line drawn through the highest points reached by ordinary spring tides at any season of the year at that port, the West Bengal Maritime Board Act, 2000, s. 2(8).
