From, ordinarily excludes the day from which the time is to be reckoned, but is construed inclusively of that day if the context requires it. See South Staffordshire, etc., Co. v. Sickness, etc., Association, (1891) 1 QB 402, in which an assurance for twelve months from Nov. 24, 1887, was held to exclude Nov. 24, 1887, and to include Nov. 24, 1888. See English v. Cliff, (1914) 2 Ch 376, and the cases there referred to.
