Freemen's Roll, a list of all persons admitted burgesses or freemen in respect of those rights which were reserved by the (English) Municipal Corporations Act, 1835 (5 & 6 Will. 4, c. 76), as distinguished from the burgesses newly created by the Act, and entitled to the rights which it confers, who are entered on the burgess-roll.
