Definition :

Foundries. Places in which the process of founding or casting metal is carried on, 'except any premises in which such process is carried on by not more than five persons and a subsidiary to the repair or completion of some other work,' are regulated as 'non-textile factories' by the Factory and Workshop Act, 1901.
