Food Inspectors. The (English) Food and Drugs (Adulteration) Act, 1928 (18 & 19 Geo. 5, c. 31), has provisions dealing with inspectors, who have powers of sampling food at the place of or in the course of delivery to a purchaser; such officers are called sampling officers (s. 16 of the Act).
