Each and every, In Collins' Dictionary of the English Language, the meaning of 'each' is given as 'every (one) of two or more considered individually'; and 'every' means 'each one (of the class specified), without exception'. In Stroud's Judicial Dictionary of Words and Phrases the true meaning of 'every' is 'each one of all', Rishyashringa Jewellery Ltd. v. Stock Exchange, (1995) 6 SCC 714: AIR 1996 SC 480.
