Degree approved, means a degree in law or a mixed or joint honours degree conferred by a university in England and Wales or by the Council for National Academic Awards which is for the time being on the list of approved degrees kept by the Council of Legal Education, Sch I Halsbury's Laws of England 3(1), para 374, p. 290.
