Deconfirmation, the Government has used the expression 'de-confirming' in its notification which may be susceptible of the meaning that it purported to undo an act which was therefore valid, State of Punjab v. Jagdip Singh, AIR 1964 SC 521: (1964) 4 SCR 964.
