Dangerous property is held at the owner's peril, see Rylands v. Fletcher, (1866) LR 1 Ex 265, and (1868), LR 3 HL 330, even though the owner may not know that the nature of the property is dangerous, Belvedere Fish, etc. Co. v. Rainham Chemical Works, (1920) 2 KB 487; (1921) 2 AC 465.
