Definition :

County boroughs. The 93 boroughs which are named in Part II. of the First Schedule of the (English) Local Government Act, 1923 (23 & 24 Geo. 5, c. 51), which replaces the (English) Local Government Act, 1888 (51 & 52 Vict. c. 41), Sch.
