Definition :

Composite cylinder, means a cylinder made of resin impregnated continuous filament wound over a metallic or a non-metallic liner. Composite cylinder using non-metallic liners are referred to as all-composite cylinders. [Gas Cylinders Rules, 2004, R. 2(v)]
