Commorth, or comorth [fr. cymmorth, Brit.; sub-sidium, Lat.], a contribution which was gathered at marriages, and when young priests said or sung the first masses, by 4 Hen. 4, c. 27, and prohibited in Wales and the Marches, 26 Hen. 8, c. 7, Jacob.
