Definition

Circuit, means an arrangement of conductor or conductors for the purpose of conveying energy and forming a system or a branch of a system. [Indian Electricity Rules, 1956, R. 2 (1) (h)]

A judicial division in which hearings occur at several locations, as a result of which judges often travel to different court-houses.
