Definition :

Buggery, sodomy, punishable by the (English) Offences against the Person Act, 1861, s. 61, by penal servitude for life or any term not less than ten years, but by the effect of the Penal Servitude Act, 1891, a maximum term of two years' imprisonment may in the discretion of the Court be imposed.
