Definition :
Bearer, a person who carries anything; of a bill of exchange, the person in possession of a bill or note which is payable to bearer. See (English) Bills of Exchange Act, 1882 (45 & 46 Vict. c. 61), s. 2.
Means a person holding a check, draft, or other negotiable instrument for payment especially marked payable to bearer or having a blank endorsement, Webster's Dictionary of Law, Indian Edn. (2005), p. 47.
