Agenhine, otherwise, but less correctly, 'Hogenhine,' and also 'Third-night awne hine,' a guest at an inn, who having stayed there for three nights, was then accounted one of the family, 'and if he offend the king's peace, his host' had to be 'answerable for him.'-Bracton, lib. 3, c. 10, s. 2.
