Definition :
Abarnare [fr. abarian, Ang.-Sax., denudo, detego, Lat.], to lay bare discover, detect. Hence, 'bere theof, a detected or convicted thief; 'bere morth, a detected homicide. Also to detect and discover any acret crime to a magistrate, Ancient Laws and Institutes of England; Leg. Canuti, c. 104.
