Definition :

Subscriber, means a person in whose name the Digital Signature Certificate is issued. [Information Technology Act, 2000 (21 of 2000), s. 2(1) (zg)]

Means a person who receives the signals of cable television network at a place indicated by him to the cable operator, without further transmitting it to any other person. [Cable Television Networks (Regulation) Act, 1995 (7 of 1995), s. 2 (i)]

Includes a person who holds a fraction of a ticket and also a transferee of a ticket thereof by assignment in writing or by operation of law. [Chit Funds Act, 1982 (40 of 1982), s. 2(r)]
