Definition :

Student, means a person enrolled in the University for undergoing a course of studies for obtaining a degree, diploma or other academic distinction duly instituted. [Central Agricultural University Act, 1992 (40 of 1992), s. 2(q)]

Means a student of University and includes any person enrolled by the University, for pursuing any course of study of the University. [Bengal Engineering and Science University, Shibpur Act, 2004, s. 2(17)]
