Search, implies an expiratory examination or prob-ing into or seeking something which is hidden, sealed, exposed or demonstrated, AIR 1968 Raj 188 (203).
An examination of a person's body, property, or other area that the person would reasonably be expected to consider as private, conducted by a law-enforcement officer for the purpose of finding evidence of crime, Black's Law Dictionary, 7th Edn., p. 1351.
