Recreation grounds. The (English) Recreation Grounds Act, 1859 (22 & 23 Vict. c. 27), facilitates grants of land near populous places for use in the regulated recreation of adults and as playgrounds for children; and ss. 76 and 77 of the (English) Public Health Acts Amendment Act, 1907 (7 Edw. 7, c. 53), contain provisions for their regulation.
