Re-traxit, means 'he has withdrawn'. A plaintiff's voluntary withdrawal of a lawsuit in court so that the plaintiff forfeits the right of action. In modern practice, re-traxit is called voluntary dismissal or dismissal with prejudice, Black's Law Dictionary, 7th Edn., p. 1318.
