Propagate, the expression 'propagate' has been defined in the Shorter Oxford Dictionary to mean 'to spread from person, or from place to place, to disseminate, diffuse (a statement, belief, practice, etc.)'. According to the Century Dictionary, 'propagate' means as follows:
