Prolixity, an unnecessary, too long, or impertinent statement, discouraged by Rules of Court; see, e.g., R.S.C. Ord. XXXVIII., Rule 2, as to affidavits, and Ord. XIX., Rule 1, as to pleadings: in each case the costs may have to be borne by the party in fault.
