Definition
Postliminium, the return of a person to his own country, after having sojourned abroad. The right of Postliminy (jus post-liminii) is that by virtue of which persons and things taken by an enemy in war are restored to their former State, upon coming again under the power of the nation of which they belonged, International Law.
