Mormonishm, a social system prevailing in Utah, a territory of North America, within the dominion of the United States, whereby plurality of wives is recognized. These marriages ae not recognized by English law, see Hyde v. Hyde, 1866 R1P&D 130. Nor are they legal according to the law of the United States.
