Definition :

Monster. An animal which has not the shape of mankind, but, in any part, evidently bears the resemblance of the brute creation, has no inheritable blood, and cannot be heir to any land, although it be brought forth in marriage; but, though it have deformity in any part of its body, yet, if it have human shape, it may be an heir, Co.
