By the present writ petition the petitioner has prayed for the issue of a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing, the order of respondent No. 2 dated October 2, 1998, Annexure-1 to the writ petition.2. Briefly stated the facts giving rise to the present writ petition are that the petitioner was appointed as a clerk in the office of Nagar Palika Parishad, Bajpur, District Udham Singh Nagar on daily wages and he was continuously working since April 10, 1989. On October 2, 1998 an order was served upon him in which respondent No. 2 Executive Officer, Nagar Palika Parishad, Bajpur has mentioned that the services of the petitioner has been terminated by oral order of the Chairman of Nagar Palika Parishad with effect from September 23, 1998.
