FIRs.APPEAL NO.659/2005 01.08.2012 Appellant present with Shri Bhagwan Singh, Advocate. Respondent present with Shri D.N.Shukla, Advocate. The father of respondent, namely, Ghasiram Dubey, is also present. The parties have filed a compromise petition I.A.No.8652/2012, by which they have agreed for divorce by mutual consent. The terms of the compromise were explained by the counsels to the parties. They have agreed that they have understood the terms of compromise and after understanding the terms of compromise, they have signed the compromise petition. As per the terms of compromise, the appellant has handed over a demand draft of Rs.5 lacs payable in the name of respondent. Out of which, Rs.2,50,000/- shall be deposited by the respondent in the name of her daughter, namely, Shivani Gautam to meet out her expenditure of marriage.
