Without having committed any illegality, a case has been registered in Crime No. 9 of 2014 by Moka Police for the offences punishable under Sections 3 and 7 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955. In view of the registration of the case against the petitioner, the respondents have cancelled the licence without providing any opportunity to him.
