ORDERS.J. Mukhopadhaya, A.C.J.1. This writ petition has been preferred by the petitioner for direction on the respondents to consider his case for appointment on compassionate ground.2. According to petitioner, his father, late Suresh Singh, was in the services of State Electricity Board. While he was posted as Head Assistant in Electric Supply Sub-Division, Pakur died in-harness on 29.12.1999. His mother applied for appointment on compassionate ground but no action has been taken by the respondents.3. Counsel appearing on behalf of Jharkhand State Electricity Board submitted that there is nothing on the record to suggest that the petitioner or his mother applied for compassionate appointment of the petitioner.4.
