COMMON ORAL JUDGMENT 1. The present First Appeals have been filed by the Appellants - State - Original Opponents being aggrieved with the impugned judgment and order rendered by the learned 2nd Joint Civil Judge (SD), Mehsana in Land Acquisition Reference Case Nos. 844 of 1998 to 850 of 1998 and 3 of 2000 dated 30.9.2000 on the grounds stated in the memo of Appeal. 2. The facts of the case briefly stated are that the lands of the Respondent - Original Claimant situated at village Manipur, Taluka Kadi had been acquired for Narmada Project. The Notification under Section 4 of the Land Acquisition Act (hereinafter referred to as “the Act”) was published on 15.3.1991 and the Notification under Section 6 of the Act was published on 5.12.1991.
