Petitioner by this petition has prayed that by appropriate writ or directions the orders dated-31.10.1994 (Annex-8), 02.03.1995 (Annex-10) and 19.8.1991 (Annex-18) may be quashed and respondents should be directed to grant petitioner all retirement benefits as per pension payment order No. M/75/93. 2. The petitioner joined the Army as a sepoy on 16.04.1970 at the age of 17 years. After successful military training he was posted at the HQs 501 Field Survey Group, Dehradun. After enhancing his educational qualification, he applied and was selected for Commission as an officer in July, 1975. He went for military training at the Army Cadet College and Indian Military Academy and was commissioned in 5th Battalion the Dogra Regiment on 09.06.1979 and rose to the rank of Major. He has been awarded Shaurya Chakra and other commendation certificates from the authorities.
