ORDERRamesam, J.1. In this case one B. Iswarudu of Narsapur has been convicted by the Stationary Sub-Magistrate of Narsapur for an offence under Section 17(2), Criminal Law Amendment Act of 1908, and is sentenced to rigorous imprisonment for six months and to pay a fine of Rs. 200. On appeal to the Joint Magistrate of Narasapur the fine was reduced to Rs. 100; otherwise the conviction was confirmed. The present revision petition is filed against the appellate judgment of the Joint Magistrate.2. It will be convenient now to set forth the facts of the case which gave rise to this revision petition. By notification dated 4th January 1932 the association known as the Working Committee of the All India Congress Committee was declared an unlawful association under Sub-Section 1, Section 8, Ordinance 4 of 1932.
