The brief facts as set out in the complaint are that the complainant purchased a washing machine Model IFB Senorita DLX from opposite party no.1 on 13-10-2008 for an amount of Rs.20,750/- which is covered under two years warranty and which was extended to another 2 years on payment of some additional amount. The complainant submits that after installation of the machine when it was connected to the tap, the machine started giving a strange noise and the sound increased while the machine was under usage, which was brought to the notice of the customer care and they assigned the matter to local service personnel of the opposite parties, who did not respond properly and deputed a non-technical person to attend to the problem.
