This appeal is filed against the judgment dated 29.07.2005 passed by the Special Judge for SPE and ACB cases cum IV Additional Chief Judge, City Civil Court, Hyderabad in C.C.No.32 of 1994 whereby and whereunder the appellant-sole accused was convicted for the offence punishable under Sections 7, 11, and 13(1)(d) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988. 2. It is stated that in the aforesaid land petitioner was operating petrol bunk from the last 20 years. Respondents have issued notification to acquire the aforesaid land under the provisions of the National Highways Act, 1956 to widen National Highway No.7 into 4/6 laning from KM 285.633 to KM 308.00.
