Forum directing it to sanction family pension to the complainant with arrears besides compensation of Rs. 2,000/- and costs of Rs. 1,000/-. 2) The case of the complainant in brief is that his father late K. Sadasivaiah worked as telephone operator in Jagitial telephone exchange. He died on 28.4.1982 leaving behind him his wife Smt. K. Sadalaxmi, four sons viz., 1) K. Narender, 2) K. Jagadeeshwara 3) K. The facts and circumstances of both the cases are identical and as such they are being disposed of by a common order. Yedukondalu was a member in the insurance scheme floated by OP1 wherein he was working. Under the scheme the employees are covered by Janata Personal Accident policy and in the event of death in an accident a sum of Rs. 5 lakhs was agreed to be paid. Appa Rao, President) 1) Appellant is unsuccessful complainant. 2) The case of the complainant in brief is that Op2 borrowed a sum of Rs. 1,46,000/- on 26.12.1999 and promised to repay the same, and issued a cheque on even day drawn on Op1 bank. He requested him to present the cheque three months there after. However, giving a grace period of one month, he presented the cheque on 17.4.2000 in his account at Bank of Baroda, Chilakalguda branch, Secunderabad. Op1 returned the cheque on the ground of insufficient funds. In fact there were sufficient funds and Op1 was bound to clear the cheque.
