ORDER1. This petition is filed under Section 482 Cr. P.C. to quash the proceedings in CC No. 1345 of 1996 on the file of the III Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad. 2. No. 16967 of 1989 are : one Sri Narasanna joined the petitioner's mill on 24-6-1960 and died while in service on 15-1-1987. During this period in the years 1972, 1973, 1975, 1978, 1981 and 1982 he was absent without obtaining leave for certain periods in each of those years. The petitioner-management had imposed fine for such absence. They are the legal representatives of one Saya Goud who tragically died on 17-6-1988 due to electrocution by coming into contact with a snapped live wire which was lying on the ground. The deceased was a toddy tapper aged 25 years at the time of his death. The death occurred while he was riding on his bicycle at about 9 A.M. on 17-6-1988. The plaintiffs are the wife, miner son and mother respectively of the deceased. They laid the suit against the A.P. As per Newspaper report which appeared in Deccan Chronicle dated 3-12-1996, one Ms. Padmaja, Aged 24 years, student of Post Graduate Master of Computer Applications Course at the Manpower Development College, Marredpally, Secunderabad committed suicide in her house as she was unable to bear the 'ragging' in the college. The deceased joined the college during the last week of November, 1996. She was subjected to ragging by her seniors in the college, who asked her to sing or dance in front of others. She was pinched and pushed by the students when she refused to yield to their demand.
