ORDER1. The petitioners, who are two in number, are the employees of Hyderabad Allwyn Limited, Sanathnagar Hyderabad. They have filed this writ petition for a declaration that the amendments approved by the Dy. Registrar of Trade Unions, Hyderabad to the Rules of the Hyderabad Allwyn Workers Union are illegal and invalid. The Hyderabad Allwyn Workers Union, of which these two petitioners are also members, is a trade union registered under the Trade Union Act. As it is common, it is riven with factional fights. The general body of the Trade Union in its meeting held on 22nd February 1986 selected one G. Sanjeeva Reddy, a labour leader of I.N.T.U.C. pursuation as the President of the Trade Union. ORDERP.A. Choudary, J.1. Times were when any one rejected by any college of education, could yet be sure of securing easy entrance into a law course for mere asking. In those not far off days, whoever asked for admission into law was given. Law Colleges were truly haven of the rejected. As Laski used to say, study of law recognisedly, was not an intellectual pursuit either in England or here. The anatomy and physiology of the society, was not seriously taught or studied. The petitioner celebrated the birth anniversary of his only son, Chy. Ranjit Kumar on 28-4- 1974. On that occasion, in accordance with the family customs and traditions prevalent among the relations, Six gold ornaments, (i.e., gold tumbler, gold Kumkuma Bharina, gold plate, two gold Uggu Cinnolu, and one old coin - totally weighing 174.900 grams) were presented as birth-day celebration gifts by some of the relatives. Those articles were subsequently found in the cradle of the minor and it was not known who has made the gift of these articles.
