Judgment:
Rakesh Kumar Garg, J.
This order shall dispose of Civil Revision Nos. 3678 and 3679 of 2011 as common question of law and facts are involved in both the petitions.
2. Prayer in these petitions is to give a direction to the Rent Controller to dispose of the ejectment petitions pending before him in a time bound frame.
3. It has been averred in these petitions that the building in question has become unfit and unsafe for human habitation as number of rooms in the said building have already caved in.
4. Before this Court, learned counsel for the petitioner has also stated that one of the tenants of the said building has already been ordered to be evicted on the ground that building in question has become unfit and unsafe for human habitation and even the revision petition filed before this Court against said order has already been dismissed. He also submitted that two more tenants of the building in question have also voluntarily surrendered the possession, keeping in view the dilapidated condition of the building.
5. The status report of the Rent Controller was also called in this case. According to him, he is trying his level best to dispose of the ejectment petition in question.
6. In view of above, these petitions are disposed of with the observation that the Rent Controller shall dispose of these petitions pending before him in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible.
7. A photocopy of this order be placed on the file of other connected case.
