Chapter1 - PRELIMINARY Section1 - Short title, extent and commencement Section2 - In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires:- Part3 - ] Section3 - (1) There shall be established and incorporated a University by the name of and its incorporation Chapter2 - The University and its Officers Section4 - (1) The sponsoring trust shall, from time to time, transfer movable and University and Section5 - The object of the University shall be:- University Section6 - The University shall have the following powers, namely:- Section7 - (1) All recognized teaching in connection with any degree, diploma, certificate, Section8 - (1) The jurisdiction of the University shall be the whole of the State of Section9 - The University shall be open to all persons irrespective of gender, religion, Section10 - The University may delegate such of its powers as it may deem expedient to Section11 - (1) The Governor shall, by virtue of his office, be the Visitor of the University Section12 - (1) The President of the sponsoring trust shall by virtue of his office be the Section13 - The following shall be the officers of the University:- Section14 - (1) The Vice-Chancellor shall be a distinguished academic with proven Section15 - (1) The Vice-Chancellor shall be the principal executive and principal Section16 - (1) The Pro-Vice-Chancellor shall be a distinguished academic with proven Chancellor Section17 - (1) The Registrar shall be a whole time officer of the University and shall Section18 - Subject to the supervision, direction and general control of the Section19 - (1) The Finance Officer shall be a whole time officer of the University Section20 - (1) Subject to the supervision, direction and general control of the duties of Finance Officer Section21 - In their respective spheres of duties, the Registrar and the Finance Officer Powers of the Registrar and the Section22 - (1) There shall be a Dean for each and every Faculty Council for Post Section23 -.....
